Tyne Bridge Webcam - North Tower
This is from a camera on the North East tower of the Tyne Bridge (looking down river). The camera is normally automatically panned around the East side of the Tyne Bridge. It has good views of the Gateshead Millennium Bridge, Tuxedo Princess (floating "nightclub"), Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art, Newcastle Quayside and the Sage Gateshead Music Centre on the Gateshead bank of the river.

The image is updated every 10 seconds, 24 hours a day.

Tyne Bridge Webcam - South Tower
This is from a camera on the South East tower of the Tyne Bridge (looking down river). The camera is automatically panned around the East side of the Tyne Bridge. It has good views of the Gateshead Millennium Bridge, Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art, Newcastle Quayside, St. Marys Church (where it seems to linger a little too much) and the Sage Gateshead Music Centre.

The image is updated every 10 seconds, 24 hours a day.

Tyne Bridge South
BBC - Newcastle Webcam
The BBC camera was moved a while back, used to view a dull skyline over the city and occasionally St James park. The camera is now looking up the River Tyne from the East side of the Millennium Bridge, the sage is the shiney silver building on the left and the Tyne Bridge is in the distance.

Just to the right of the Millennium Bridge inside the barriers is where we usually pull the jetski's up for essential refreshments at the Pitcher and Piano bar. The blue platform in the bottom right corner is the floating visitors pontoon.

The image is updated every 5 minutes throughout the day.

Tunnel Cam 1 - Internal
This is the first of four traffic monitoring cams from Newcastle City Council. The camera is located inside the Tyne Tunnel (carrying the A19) facing the North bound traffic. I'm not too sure how often the camera is refreshed, but it operates 24 hours a day. Now you know what to do when you're bored... Car,Car,Car,Car,Lorry,Car,Car......
